2O Reasons You Should Do Yoga

You Should Do Yoga – And Here’s Why

Have you considered doing yoga?  Do you want to, but you feel like you don’t have enough time or feel that if you went to a class that you would be embarrassed? Trust me I would have, too.  That’s why I’ve worked on yoga at home.  I guess you could say that I’m self taught (or Pinterest taught).

Some people believe that yoga is just a fancy version of stretching, but it’s much more than that.  It’s so good for your mind, body, and soul.  As one of my favorite Instagrammers Sjana Earp said, “I can’t think of one good reason to not do yoga” and she’s so right! After you read this, you’ll know why you should do yoga too.

Yeah… So, just let that all sink it for a minute.

Think about all the stuff your body has to go through like, getting cramps, digesting junk food, carrying excess weight.  Then, think about what all your mind and spirit have to deal with on a daily basis.  All these stressful thoughts and feeling, anger, frustration, sadness.  I know its hard not to just cover stuff up and act like your body and mind are perfectly healthy.  But, I’ve learned that it’s so much better when you actually heal yourself and stop putting something off because you feel lazy, or maybe because you’re scared to deal with feelings.

Seriously, just do it!  If any little part of you wishes to be peaceful and happy, yoga will surely bring some of that to you, and maybe a little soreness.. But, thats okay! You will never hear someone say “I regret trying yoga.. It made me feel like crap!”.  You might hear “I’m sore”, or “It’s harder than I thought”.

So, do not be embarrassed or scared to try yoga.

You won’t regret it.  I know I don’t.
