I’ve been trying to eat as clean as possible lately. It’s been hard, because anytime I see something with sugar in it, I want it! I have a sweet tooth the size of Texas! So, I’ve been trying to find a good dessert recipe without sugar, so I can pig out without feeling guilty! This is what I found!
Gluten free chocolate chip honey cookies
Trust me, if you haven’t had sugar for a while these babies taste awesome! Especially if you love honey, like me!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup honey (organic is best)
- 1/2 Cup butter
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 Cup flour of choice ( I used gluten free pancake mix)
- 1 1/2 Tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/4 Tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 Tsp. salt
- 1 Cup chocolate chips ( you can use plain dark chocolate with no added sugar or, semi sweet chocolate chips)
Directions:
Preheat your oven at 350.
Mix honey and butter together. Stir in the vanilla and egg. In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together. Put the dry mixture into the dough, stir, then add the chocolate chips. Place scoops of cookie dough onto a cookie sheet and let bake for 11-12 minutes.
When they’re done, get in your pjs, get a fluffy blanket, go on Netflix, find a movie that’s like 100,000 years old, and eat all of those dang cookies! You know you want to.
