Almond Butter Banana Cookies

These cookies contain some of my favorite things, almond butter, bananas and chocolate! So, I fell in love, and so will you!

These cookies were so simple to make since they only had three ingredients! Then, I had to add some stuff just for satisfaction! But, like I’ve said before, I love easy recipes and this one is definitely rewarding!

I guess you could consider these as breakfast cookies! That is, if you eat cookies for breakfast?  That would just be a dream come true!  Anyway, you can feel less guilty for having these bad boys, because it contains natural sugar (depending on what type of chocolate chips you use).  I have them when I’m craving something sweet but want to stay on track with a clean diet.

So, here’s how you make them!

First, mash up 4 ripe banana’s!

Mix in 2 cups of old fashion oatmeal

You could just add the chocolate chips and bake from there, but I wanted to make them taste even better!

So, I put two spoonfuls of almond butter. Add as much or as less as you desire. (I won’t judge!)

Two tablespoons of Chocolate PB2.

Mix that all together before you add 1/2 cup chocolate chips.

If I had to change one thing about these cookies, I would change the chocolate chips I used.  I don’t recommend them for this recipe.  Next time I plan on using semi sweet chocolate chips. But, you can use anything you want!  You can add nuts, berries, raisins, caramel, chocolate, Reese cups, Twix Bars, more chocolate… Sorry, I’m just trying to give you idea’s here.  Just get creative whether you want to keep them healthy, or not, that’s up to you!

Let them cool and enjoy!

I put mine in the freezer so I can microwave one for a treat every now and then!

I hope you all like this recipe!
