Looking back at a few of my highlights from 2015
Launching LilyEmmaline.com has been such a blessing.
Being able to share recipes, thoughts and ideas with you all has been so much fun. I’m excited for what 2016 has in store for us, though!
Giving Water
Having your help saving live’s in need of water, has not only been a blessing for the people receiving the water, but for us, too! We can say that we’ve saved lives!! You guys, that’s AWESOME! That’s definitely something to be proud of.
Vacation with my family
I’m grateful to have gone to my favorite little get-away place with my family and friends. My heaven on earth… Seaside/Grayton Beach. The ocean, the food, the company.. Everything about that place, I love! Here are a few pictures from when we went!
This is what the walk down from Seaside to the beach looks like!
Celebrating Fathers Day and going to one of our favorite restaurants, The Red Bar. (me, Dad and Jed)
You haven’t lived until you’ve had a snow-cone from Frost-Bites. They are to DIE for!
Mom and I getting our Yoga on at Grayton (she had to help me balance).
My hot friend Kara…
Coconut water is 50x better out of an actual coconut on the beach. I promise!
And of course, we had about 5 photo sessions out of the seven days we were at the beach. We enjoyed it, though!
Kara and I biking off our scones, donuts and snow-cone diet… It’s called balance.
Going with my boyfriend to the beach
I got to spend the week after my vacation with my family, with my boyfriend (Hunter) and his family at the beach, as well! Two weeks at the beach… Talk about one happy Lily!
We would take walks on the beach at sunset almost every night.
We asked so many strangers to take pictures of us, but they would always turn out blurry or my hair was in my face. So, we took matters into our own hands, set the timer on my phone and propped it up with a flip-flop… Voila! I think the guy on the bike was impressed…
Perfect timing, huh?
Blurry picture, sorry…
Our last night we watched fireworks on the beach for the Forth of July. The whole trip was so much fun, but the best part was getting to spend time with my Hunter, though.
Going to Brazil
First time going to Brazil.. First time going out the the country… And it was amazing! I’ll leave this simple because I have a full post about it, click here to read about Going to Brazil!
Family and friends
There’s no place like home, and that’s so true! I’m surrounded by blessings and wonderful people all of the time. My family, friends and boyfriend are what inspire me and help mold me to be who I am now! I couldn’t be more grateful.
My funny, athletic, handsome, goof-ball of a boyfriend that I love!
My brother, Jed. He could make almost anyone laugh till they pee themselves. He’s seriously one of the funniest people I know. Along with that, being extremely gifted in the music department and working out. He inspires me more than he knows.
My Dad (Jerry). He has taught me so much! I wouldn’t have this blog/website if it weren’t for him and all the help he has given me. He wins an award for the “coolest” dad around in my book! I’m truly grateful for him and I know 2016 has great things in store for him!
My personal photographer, therapist, teacher, friend and Mom (Gina). If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t have some of the awesome photography, humor and manners that I (somewhat) have, (I’m still learning haha). She’s the best of the best and she continues to keep me laughing and reaching for my dreams on a day-to-day basis.
So, yeah, 2015 was absolutely amazing! I could go on and on about all the wonderful things/blessing that happened, but I would have to write a flipping book. I’m blessed you guys. The more you think about the good things, the more that pop up in your mind.
I’m grateful for all of you that have supported/helped and shared the meaning of my website! I couldn’t do it without you all!
2016, you aren’t even ready…
